Token
*Note: The $ARROW Token is not available for purchase or use by individuals in the United States and other prohibited jurisdictions.
The Arrow token ($ARROW) is an Avalanche ERC-20 token native to the Arrow ecosystem that serves as a utility and access token, granting holders access to activities on the Arrow platform.
Staking
The staking process works as follows:
Users can stake tokens by depositing them in the staking contract, provided they meet the eligibility criteria.
While staked, the user earns rewards in the form of token emissions (some of these rewards are financed by platform revenue).
To un-stake, the user withdraws from the smart contract, subject to a 90-day hold period where no rewards are paid.
To un-stake immediately (to avoid the 90-day hold), the user pays a 30% fee
Fees
Fees are collected from every option trade in USDC at a rate of 0.25% of the premium. Staking tokens allows users to receive a share of the collected fees based on the quantity and duration of their staked tokens.
In the future, $ARROW may be used in the following ways:
Protocol governance
Margin and option writing insurance
Discounts on platform trading fees
